Life can be tough. Some people get lucky and lead a successful life just after college, while some are lost in confusion on what to do next. Are you one of the clueless people out there? Here are some sure-fire signs that you are clueless about your life.
YOU STILL LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS
If you are in your mid-twenties and you still live with your parents, you better start wondering about moving out and leading a life on your own.
YOU DON’T MAKE AN EFFORT TO FIND A JOB
Yes, being a bum has its perks. But you should stop being too dependent! Time to learn some cooking skills or do something productive, man. Better yet, go find a job!
YOU CAN’T SEEM TO FIND A JOB YOU LIKE
Well, if you tried looking and you can’t find that perfect fit — just keep looking! Don’t just easily give up and cry… You got to put yourself yourself together! Keep on looking and applying to jobs that you might find workable. Get some experience. That’s how you start!
THE TALK ABOUT MONEY IRRITATES YOU
Of course it does. Money is a very irritating thing, especially if you don’t have some. Instead of getting irritated, search for job opportunities or even some side-lines. You might just find yourself some money to save for the future!
YOU SPEND ALL DAY EATING and SLEEPING
It’s not bad to eat and sleep. What’s bad is doing it all day long. Be someone useful, today. Let this day be productive
YOU SOMEHOW HATE CHECKING YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK ACCOUNTS
If you find yourself hating other people’s lives because they seem to have the world figured out — relax. You don’t just go around and start comparing your life to others. Stop focusing on their lives and start acting on your life. It’s unhealthy to always be on the lookout on what’s happening with your friends and be sober afterwards. Remember, whether you think you can or you think you can’t — you are right. And I’m quoting Henry Ford on that!
YOU CONSTANTLY GIVE EXCUSES
Excuses won’t take you anywhere. It just delays your personal growth. So instead of giving endless excuses about what you should do with your life right now, go out and see the world. Have a change of perspective. You might be surprised of what you’ll experience!
YOU BORROW MONEY
I guess by now you know why you’re poor. Borrowing money will always add up to your obligation list. That’s why it’s a big no-no if you are perfectly clueless about your life right now and adding up another obligation (or problem) afterwards! You wouldn’t like it if you have a big debt.
YOU’RE IN DENIAL
You are in constant denial that everything’s okay when it’s not. As the saying goes: “Denial is the first step of accepting the truth.” Always remember that sooner or later, you’ll have to do something about it.
The reason why you’re clueless in life is because you can’t seem to find anything worth your time and effort. And even if you find something, you don’t do it because you make excuses, thus; you procrastinate! Procrastination will never lead to anything good, and in fact, it won’t make you go to places!
YOU FEEL UNCERTAIN ABOUT SO MANY THINGS
It is important for you to know that you are in control of your future — and it is what you do in the present that defines what will happen five to ten years from now!
YOU HATE YOUR PARENTS FOR PESTERING YOU
Parents will always have a say, especially if they see that you are still dependent on them. If you hate the pestering, then show your folks that you can make the cut!
YOU DON’T SET GOALS OR LIFE PLANS
One of the attributes of highly effective people is that they set goals and life plans that they work hard to check off their lists. If you are basically clueless, start making a list of your goals!
YOU ARE AFRAID OF THE FUTURE
Stop! Your future isn’t as scary as you think. You don’t need to have everything figured out right at this moment. Enjoy life, work for your dreams, and never be afraid of failing! Don’t get fear get the best out of you.
YOU MISS SCHOOL
Maybe you think that your life is easier and fun when you were at school. Now that you’ve graduated, you feel the pressure coming in. Relax. Life can be as fun! You are in control!
Let’s admit it. Life can be really hard sometimes and it’s normal to be clueless about it. What’s important is that we do something to address it before it’s too late for us to turn the situation around, right?
