Tattooed women are often misunderstood. But here are some important things you need to know about us before you make that judgment!

Asking us what our tattoos mean is a great way to get to know us

Tattoos are not just skin deep. They are personal. Each ink we smear artistically on our body means something for us. We would love to tell you what they mean, and trust me when I say that even the smallest pea-sized star tattoos are full with meaning. But please don’t expect us to tell every darn story. Some things are just meant to be appreciated and not told so please respect that.

We’re not automatically wild and crazy

You may see us with ink and may think that we are some sort of crazy chick who’s willing to do kinky stuff. No. These tramp stamps, hipbones, rib ink or whatever you call them probably means one thing: we like how the look on us when they were placed there. Remember that we considered our body to be a blank and artistic canvas so please treat us with respect like you treat Mona Lisa.

We don’t care if you think we’re cheap

If you’re one of those guys who think tattooed girls are big piles of horse crap then get the hell out of my face. Go and look for women without tattoos because we didn’t get inked just for your approval and we sure won’t get them removed for your pleasure too.

We’ll still be professional at work

Being tattooed doesn’t mean you’ll be some sort of anarchist. No, we make sure that no matter what we do, we will act like professionals. Sure, there are jobs in the world that require us to cover our tattoos and we will because we have so much respect. So don’t think that just because I have ink on my body doesn’t mean I’ll blow up your office or what.

Yes, we’re aware of them showing up in our wedding dresses

But that’s the point. We want to show them off sometimes. And besides, we no longer live in the 1800s where every freaking wedding is prim and pristine. If we ever decided to get married, we’ll look stunning regardless. So if you don’t support this, then go back to the boring 1800s thinking ¬†you have and marry those women out there.
